In the fourth quarter of 2024, the music and audio app market in Bulgaria exhibited notable trends, as illustrated by data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five apps in this category.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $3.5K towards the end of November. Downloads experienced a significant surge, reaching approximately 8.7K in early December. The app maintained an active user base fluctuating between 280K and 310K throughout the quarter.

TIDAL Music: HiFi sound experienced steady weekly revenue, with a peak of about $1.2K mid-December. Weekly downloads remained stable, with a slight increase to 250 in late December. However, active users showed a downward trend, decreasing from 8K to around 1.7K by the end of the quarter.

Deezer: Music & Podcast Player recorded a modest revenue peak of about $600 at the beginning of October. Weekly downloads increased slightly, reaching 404 in late November, while active users gradually declined from about 7.5K to 3.2K over the quarter.

Pocket FM: Audio Series showed a notable increase in revenue, peaking at $337 in mid-November. Downloads, however, declined significantly, dropping to as low as 29 by the end of December. Active users remained relatively stable around 1K but showed a gradual decrease towards the quarter's end.

Apple Music exhibited stable downloads, reaching a high of 528 in late December. Revenue remained consistent, peaking at $211 in early October. Active users showed minor fluctuations, maintaining an average of around 8K throughout the quarter.
